Lury delivers a unique approach to creative, ingredient-led cooking, drawing on British and Burgher heritage. The Burghers of Sri Lanka developed their own culinary style combining their European ancestry with the ingredients of Sri Lanka. Drawing on Jack’s British, European and Sri Lankan heritage our kitchen serves a unique tasting menu inspired by ingredients, memory and culture. We serve a tasting menu comprising dishes that reflect our ethos and the best produce available on any given day.
Our tasting menu is £85. It is served for dinner from Thursday to Saturday, and also for Saturday lunch.
Reservations can be made below. We take bookings up to two months in advance and our maximum table size is for 6 guests. As we are a small team, please note we serve only our set menu, we do not offer pescatarian or vegetarian alternatives at this time. Additionally we are unable to cater for most allergies. We serve a set menu which currently features meat, fish and vegetable dishes. We do not currently offer wholly pescatarian or vegetarian menus. As we are a small team we cannot cater to most dietaries so please contact us before booking if you wish to discuss an allergy.

Children over 10 are allowed in the dining room, however please note that we do not offer separate children’s menus, so any child dining with us must also be served the full tasting menu.

There is limited street parking right outside the restaurant, and many nearby streets have pay and display parking, Alternatively Priory Street Car Park is a few minutes walk away.
If you are coming by train, then the restaurant is a 5 minute walk from Hastings station.

We are unable to accomodate animals in our restaurant. It is a very small space and due to allergies and phobias we ask for your understanding in creating a comfortable environment for all of our guests.
